The Board licenses qualified psychologists, masters level psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and addictions counselors. In addition, the Board reviews and approves continuing education courses and requirements, establishes practice standards, and regulates the six professional groups. The Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) protects and serves the consumers of services offered by BSRB licensees, through the issuance of licenses, resolution of complaints and the creation of appropriate regulations, accomplished through efficiency, fairness and respect to all those involved.
