The Department of Labor is a cabinet-level agency headed by a secretary appointed by the Governor. The Department has two major divisions, each headed by a director: Workers Compensation and Employment Security. In addition, the Employment Security Advisory Council, Workers Compensation Advisory Council, and various support units are attached to the Department.
